04/22/2008: Catching up is hard to do

A quick update on the last week.

Thursday I drove all the way into Palmdale to see the Mythos showcase. I got quick a few pictures, and I also made a padcast.

I've never done a podcast before, and it was kinda fun.

Before I arrived at Mythos, I took a quick detour and saw the Antelope Valley Poppe Preserve. I took some pictures:

Friday was time for Exotic Blend, a wonderful little show in Redlands. I got lots of pictures and a few videos (and there's more to come).

Saturday I was at the Irwindale faire all day long. I took a record number of pictures for a single day -- 5,400 after editing out the junk.

I split this up into a dozen or so smaller albums of individuals, acts and guilds.

Sunday was the Festival of Dancing colors. Four hours of belly dancing. Here's the pictures (about 1,100 of them!)

Yesterday I had to work a long shift, almost 24 hours, to upgrade the mainframe computer at the office. We're still in progress and there are a couple more long days in store...
