Yesterday I really wanted to go to the Ojai bellydance festival. But my foot was hurting and I decided it would be best to take it easy this weekend, relax the foot (and alternate between applying ice and a heating pad). I heard it was a great show and lots of people were asking about me: I am sorry I didn't make it.
The foot is feeling much much better.
Now I spent yesterday and am spending today working on come chores, cleaning, catching up and writing. I've been keeping busy!
I began a new adventure, in line with my goal to be a professional photographer, and joined Model Mayheim and DPchallenge. It will be interesting to see where that leads.

Work is getting very stressful, but that's to be expected. I've got lots of weekend activities planned, and from now on I'm not going to miss anything if I can help it! I've got too much to do and too many things to experience to miss out...
Next Saturday I'll be going to the Mythical creatures show, both of them. It looks like a fantastic show with some awesome bellydancers. I won't be going to the after-party because...
Southwest granted me a free flight (second in a year). Yes, I fly a lot. which is strange to me because up until a little over a year ago I was afraid of flying. Now give me any excuse to get on a plane and I'm up and away...
So they gave me a free flight and I checked out next Sunday and well, what do you know, there is the perfectly scheduled round-trip to Phoenix. As in the Arizona renaissance faire. Yes, I know I've already been there four times this year, but it's a really nice faire. So I'm going out Sunday early to the last day of the Arizona faire. Should be fun.
After that, it's time for the Irwindale faire, also known as southern faire. I had originally planned to go every single day (total of 15 days including school day) but I've cut it back to half that because I have some other events and things I want to do. On top of that, there is a lot (a heck of a lot) of fun bellydance events scheduled for the evenings after faire, which means there will be a few mad-dashes from the faire-grounds to the events.
I have to remember to be careful with my back and my feet. None of the issues with the back and feet are serious, as in they will not kill me or cripple me, but it can be painful.
So now I am off to do some rainy day chores and things.
