Medieval Times

Mon, June 19, 2006 - 8:43 AM

I went to Medieval Times last night for the seventh time in 8 months. It was a good way to spend father's day, and I went with a friend.

A funny thing happened on the way in. If you've ever been there, then you know that they take your picture, then present it to you during dinner and you have the option to purchase it for twenty dollars. Well, there were two lines for picture taking and I got in one. As it turns out, I got into the line to have my picture taken with the "king".

Naturally, I wanted my picture taken with the queen, so I told the person I would like to go over to the queen and get it done. He said "this isn't Burger King, you don't get it your way". I was flabbergasted to say the least.

I just looked at him and said, "I paid sixty dollars for dinner. I will get it my way" and proceeded to get my picture taken with the queen. He was quite upset.

Other than that, the dinner was good, as always, and the show was great. I especially enjoy watching the horses, and the falcon is wonderful.
