One of the senior vice presidents at our company wrote my boss this email about me and my teams response to the huge problems we had yesterday.
"I just wanted to thank your team for a job well done during the system issues yesterday. From early morning until late yesterday your MIS team helped resolved some serious issues and kept the order problems to a minimum. The communication throughout the day was excellent. It's great to know that when we do have issues, a team of professionals is on the job helping to minimize the impact on our stores and customers.
My sincere thanks"
