Circus

Sat, July 22, 2006 - 6:47 AM

Friday evening it was time for the circus. I had purchased the tickets over two months ago at a price of $100. This was for front row, center ring seats, the best seats you can get.

I took the subway, since it goes from practically my front door down directly to the Staples center. It was an uneventful trip. I like the Los Angeles subway system - it's always clean, usually fast and safe.

My seat was indeed excellent, as close to perfect as you can get. My view was unobstructive, and best of all there was no one near me. The seats were marked reserved, and I got a "Circus Celebrity Pass", which meant I got to go out and interact with the performers a bit during the show.

I went to the same exact circus a yea ago. This time the show was completely different. One act that was really impressive was an iron cage, stuffed with a dozen guys on motorcycles going as fast as they could. It was amazing.

All-in-all, a very fun filled evening. I thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Wow! That sounds amazing! I didn't know there were still circuses!
