Last week my main workstation computer at home died. It was a T42p laptop (IBM) and the fan died. It's a nice computer, but it's slower than I want and I decided it's time to get a new one.
So I looked on the IBM web site and found the beauty that I want. A T60 2.0GHz Core Duo, 100gb disk drive, 2gb memory, 1gb ethernet, wireless ethernet and windows XP pro. I ordered it and it should arrive tomorrow.

New toys are SO much fun!
My laptop is only 4 months old, and I want a new one, with a tablet display...

The IBM (Lenovo) X41 tablets are somewhat decent machines. We have 3 of them where I work and I've had problems with one of them running really slowly on the same configuration as the others. If you're doing photo editing, I'd stick with a Mac and go with a MacBook that can boot both Windows and Mac OSX. I am running Picasa on Vista Beta 2 at home and it works beautifully. The new Windows OS is gonna be awesome. I wish I had the funds for a high end Mac, but for now I'm working with my home built system.
