Ah yes, our power outage this weekend is finally resolved. The DBA was able to restore the database back to within a few minutes of the crash, and the developers did their thing and got the orders and products delivered.
The UPS people came out, examined our UPS, and said it was fine. Hmm. It's fine for a UPS (Universal Power supply) to stop delivering power with there is no power failure? Needless to say, we've asked them to come out again and take a closer look...
My boss actually told me I did a great job. Outside of the yearly review, this is the first time in recent memory he's actually complimented me without it being dragged out of him. He doesn't believe in giving positive feedback.
