Friday evening I went to Froggy's Fish Market to see some of my favorite dancers, have some great food and be with friends. I am glad Elizabeth warned about the twisty roads, because they really are twisty, and dark, and a little bit of a challenge to drive. Well, I had a work emergency come up while driving, so I was talking on the phone and calling and so forth while navigating those horrible curves.
I was afraid I'd have to turn around and go home to handle the emergency, but it turned out to be not so serious after all (very bad problem but easy to fix). So one of my employees fixed it and I could relax and enjoy the rest of the night.
The food was great. I managed to get there early, and I'm glad I did because I was able to get a good seat close to the stage, and also because the place filled up to capacity fast. This is a popular show, so if you are going, get there early or you may wind up sitting on the floor.
The show started and ended with She'enedra, and they were in great form tonight. Their dancing and performances just seem to get better and better each time I see them.
SOOZ was phenomenal, absolutely gorgeous and she did an outstanding performance as always. I love watching this lady dance, as she radiates good cheer and happiness, and I always come away from one of her shows feeling good.
Hiplash is another of my favorite dance troupes. These ladies have class and style, and their dancing at Froggy's was great. They always seem to have so much fun!
When Kashmir was finished dancing, I heard excited whispers from all around. Her performance was energetic and I could sense the audience's enjoyment. I overheard one lady saying "that last dancer [Kashmir] was awesome!"
I have not seen Tsingani before, but after watching them on Friday I hope to see them in the future. They were (I'm running out of adjectives) great.
There were many other dancers, and I didn't catch all the names (forgive me please!) They were all wonderful.
Thanks to all for putting on such a wonderful show.

Richard!!! Your support of the bellydance community and especially of She'enedra is SOOOOOOO very appreciated! We really enjoy having you at our shows...I just noticed my silly husband in the background of that picture being a nut!...anyway, you are a really good spirit, I can tell! Thank you for coming...yes Froggy's is a fun show, very busy, I don't get much chance to sit and watch or hang out, but it's very fun!
