TEACHERS MESSAGE - FIRST SEMESTER - FEBRUARY 1968
Richard seems to be very capable in all academic areas. He shows special interests and the extra encouragement you give him at home is very helpful. He still is quiet and shy in the classroom but does seem to have good peer relationships.
CONFERENCE REPORT - APRIL 2, 1968
Richard is making good progress in all academic areas. He uses good basic reading skills in attacking new words, has developed a basic sight vocabulary and has good comprehension and appreciation. He is encouraged to read beyond the second grade basic reading level. We are working in multiplication and division now and shall soon present "borrowing" and "carrying". I expect no problem.
